President Yoweri Museveni on Friday met FIFA president Gianni Infantino at State House, Entebbe.
The duo discussed the importance of government as the biggest external supporter of Ugandan football and how the FIFA strategic plan can liberate the game in Uganda.
Infantino praised the football talent Uganda has and has pledged to continuously help Ugandan football to develop.
“The talent that you have in this country is incredible,” Infantino told President Museveni.
He is the first FIFA president to visit Uganda.
