The Kabale woman Member of Parliament, Catherine Ndamira Atwakire has told parents to keep their children at home, awake of demonstrations that took place in Kampala last week.

Hon Ndamira, who was speaking to Christians at Christ the king church in Kabale on Sunday morning said the demonstrations that occurred in Kampala ended lives of some people mostly youth.

“You witnessed what is in Kampala on TV? It’s scaring. Kindly tell, your children to shun these demonstrations. Imagine being at home and they call you to receive a body of your child. The youth need to be advised otherwise they will be lured to demonstrations which is very dangerous,” Ndamira said.

The protests broke out in Kampala a Moments after presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine was arrested as he campaigned in Eastern Uganda last Wednesday.
