The territorial Police in Sezibwa Region has apprehended a gang of organized criminals that has been behind most notorious murders, robberies and other violent crimes in the areas of Namwezi and Kyabaggu in Njeru division, Buikwe district.
According to Sezibwa Regional Police Spokesperson Hellen Butoto,the group is commonly known as ‘Boys Boys’ and was led by a one Kapol who was arrested on Monday with 11 others.
“We arrested them after they had conducted a house break-in,” said Butoto.
“Upon arrest, they were in possession of house break in implements and army uniforms in their residences.”
The suspects are currently in custody at Njeru Police Division.
