The Kajara county member of Parliament Micheal Timuzigu Kamugisha has called for concerted efforts against corruption among the public, if 2019 is to be a safe year and free from the vice.
Timuzigu, who spoke to Watchdog Uganda on Sunday, noted that in the last year corruption, took a center stage. He said fighting it cannot be done by one person but urged Ugandans to wage a war against it.
He noted that some civic and political leaders have lost their dignity and responsibilities due to lack of faithfulness and patriotism to their country.
He also urged couples to avoid domestic violence saying that it has failed families to develop thus middle income status may be night mare in 2020.
