The KMP spokesman, Luke Owoyesigire said that Turyasiima was found selling to a one Ibrahim Lubega but the card is registered in the name of Byaruhanga Aliganyira.

” We are investigating the source for these cards since many criminals are using such cards to commit crimes” Owoyesigire said.

Turyasiima’s arrest also later led to the arrest of Teopista Ngonzi, working at Majestic Plaza as the brain behind vending used sim cards for sale around town. She too possessed 22 unsold cards.

The suspects are now detained at Katwe Police station as investigations continue.
