KCCA FC were victors against Express away in the Azam Uganda Premier league game held at Wankulukuku stadium on Tuesday.

Gaffer Mike Mutebi made an early change withdrawing Isaac Kirabira for Paul Mucureezi in the 16th minute.

The hosts took the lead in the 21st minute courtesy of Ayub Kisalita who struck from the penalty spot after Fillbert Obenchan had fouled in the penalty area.

Hitimana then levelled matters with a tap in his keeper’s net 10 minutes later.
Ikara Tom was then called into action to make a point blank save five minutes from the end of the opening half.

Moments later Julius Poloto exchanged quick passes with Paul Mucureezi but the latter shot inches wide.

At the stroke of halftime, Jackson Nunda coolly controlled a high ball from Fillbert Obenchan and slotted home to give KCCA FC the advantage.

In the second half, Jackson Nunda almost got helped himself to a brace but the hosts’ custodian pushed the ball out for corner after brilliant inter play between Okello, Nunda and Mucureezi.

Allan Okello was then withdrawn for Derrick Nsibambi (indicate time) and the forward showed immediate impact with mazy runs

Ikara then made another miraculous save late in the game to keep KCCA FC in it,

1-2 the final score after 90 minutes

KCCA FC collects three points away from home and move into second place on the log with 51 points from 26 games.

KCCA FC will play Township Rollers away in Gaborone Botswana in the CAF Champions league group stage game on Friday 4th May.
