Photos: Emotions as Makerere University Student who collapsed and died after an exam is laid to rest

Emotions ran high yesterday in Kalungu as Joanita Nakalembe was laid to rest. Many of her former colleagues at Makerere university wept uncontrollably as the casket containing Joan’s body was lowered in the grave and others fainted.


Joan Nakalembe who was pursuing a degree course at Makerere, passed on early this week after fainted during exams. The postmortem report of the late indicates that she was poisoned.
