Prestigious Ntare School has sent all senior three students packing following their rampant general misconduct.
In a notice issued on 27 March, 2017, Ntare School on behalf of the Board of Governors and Parents Teachers Association (PTA) decided to send the whole Senior Three Class because of misconduct.
The school alleges that students in question for a while have been misbehaving in several ways like one time they refused lunch but were later persuaded to change their mind, they also mobilized and forced students not to do evening preps and one time they raided the headmaster’s residence and broke glasses among others.
According to the school, the date of reporting back has not been provided but it will be decided and communicated effectively.
“In a meeting today, it was decided that they be given suspension. The day for coming back to school shall be decided and communicated effectively,” Notice partly reads.
Ntare School is a residential all-boys’ secondary school located in Mbarara, Mbarara District, western Uganda. It was founded in 1956 by a Scottish educator named William Crichton.
The school is one of the most prestigious schools in Uganda due to its history, reputation, excellent academic performance, and dominance in sports.
