The woes between Minister in charge of Kampala Beti Kamya and City Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago are far from over.
While addressing journalists at Uganda Media Centre on Friday, Kamya has said Lukwago has abandoned his key functions according to the KCCA act of chairing the council meetings and welcoming local and foreign dignitaries to the city.
“His role is to receive dignitaries but I don’t know why he is not fighting to receive them, he is also supposed to preside over council meetings, those are his key roles. He should be fighting while these people don’t go to his office first,” Kamya stated.
