The Uganda Police Force wishes to announce the following tentative burial arrangements for our departed comrade Assistant Inspector General of Police Andrew Felix Kaweesi.
On Sunday March 19, 2017, his body will be taken to St. Andrew’s Church in Kulambiro, Ntinda, Kampala for prayers at 1500hrs. Thereafter a vigil will be held overnight at his home in Kulambiro.
On the morning of Monday, March 20, 2017, the cortege of the deceased will leave his home for Mass at 1000hrs at Rubaga Cathedral.
On Tuesday, March 21, 2017 his remains will be laid to rest in Kyazanga, Lwengo District. Mass in Kyazanga starts at midday.
We will share the funeral arrangements details for CPL Erau Kenneth & C/DRV Mambewa Godfrey once their families confirm the arrangements.
We call upon mourners to respect the deceased and maintain decorum all through the burial ceremonies.
