The government has not fulfilled its end of the bargain to for the medical bills of Mukono Municipality MP, Betty Nambooze.

The Medical Board which should have cleared Ms Nambooze to go for further medical attention at an Indian hospital after spending more than a month at Bugolobi Medical Centre with a broken back, has not remitted any money at the hospital, according to information this website is receiving.

Hill Water

The Mukono Municipality legislator should be undergoing a surgery on her spine following the legendary fight at parliament which saw Special Forces drag MPs out of the House. Nambooze was one of the MPs who were arrested after the Parliament standoff and was manhandled leading to an injury on her back.

She was confined at a Bugoloobi hospital for a month before she was recommended to Manipal Hospital Bangalore India.

This website understands that the legislator is being handled by one of the best Spine surgeons in Bangalore.
The government does not pay her bills like it does others VIPs in her category, Nambooze will have to raise over UGX200 million for this hospital visit.
