Today, the national assembly has been characterized by all sort of comical acts as MPs were moving to debate on the controversial age limit bill.

But out of the entire comical buzz, social media users were electrified by Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze who reported to parliament clad in a red jumper suit all set to defend article 102b.

Hill Water

Before entering parliament, Nambooze stubbornly tried to pluck off MP Ibrahim Abiriga’s yellow cap while he was having a live interview on NTV.

Nambooze defended her unusual dress code saying that if the constitution can be changed, why not her dress code.

Her ‘stubbornness’ and ‘ninja’wear has moved social media and quick users have started creating memes about the legislator projecting her as a ‘terminator’ready  to search and destroy whoever wants to joke with the constitution.
