Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze has today morning been rushed to Nsambya Hospital for a comprehensive head and chest scan.
Nambooze and Medard Seggona were hit with rubber bullets and the Buganda DP vice chairperson was severely injured since she was shot on the head on Sunday at Masaka where they had gone to attend a meeting organized by area Member of parliament Mathias Mpuuga.
Nambooze fainted while being detained by police and she was rushed to a nearby hospital to seek medical assistance.
Since then, Nambooze has been under treatment until yesterday when she more felt severe headache and chest pains.
