Mukono municipality Member of Parliament, Betty Nambooze apparently is the happiest mother on the universe after her daughter Mulungi Jane Frances Bakileke won a big office at Global Junior School.
After a tough election, Mulungi emerged winner and now she is the new Head Monitor.
The 9 year old scooped 517 votes against her tight competitor Ssempijja who got 472 votes.
Nambooze couldn’t hide her excitement apart from revealing the news on her social media platform.
“There is nothing in the world called a small election…the whole of today my minds have been at Global junior school where pupils were casting votes in an election where my youngest daughter was standing for one of the school top most office. Well results coming in show that Mulungi has won the hotly contested election with 517 against her biggest challenge Ssempijja who got 472votes. Mulungi is now the Global junior School Head monitor,” Nambooze posted.
